The processes carried out start from used barriques for 2 or a maximum of 4 years.
These are the characteristics:
- internally planed for 4/5 mm to return to the noble essence of wood;
- externally smoothed (they look like new);
- medium / light internal roasting (suitable for all ages)
- riveted and bolted;
- they have a yield equal to 80% / 90% compared to new barriques
The internal regeneration process takes place with the export of the tartar / wine that is created inside the barrels.
The barrel is cleaned with a specific machinery bringing the inside of the barrel to live wood and toasted again on fire.
THE BARRIQUE IS EQUIPPED WITH A SILICONE CAP.
